Host Control Panel

Greetings, !

This Host Control Panel is the most powerful tool that SKF provides to you as a Host.  Under the tabs above, you can set up your local micosite, announce your local events, compose and send e-mails to your contestant families, and access a wide variety of documents and templates to help in carrying out your Host activities.  Please spend some now exploring this page and all of the links on it. Once you are comfortable with the mechanics, go to Site Management and:
 

1. Enter and Save all of the "Upcoming Events" you know about today (you'll be updating this regularly),
2. Enter, format (be creative with fonts and colors!), and Save your current "2012 Local Title Announcement",
3. Enter and Save the "Welcome Content" your contestants and parents will see when they first log in to the site.
4. Click 'Preview Local Site" to be sure everything is presented the way you intended. Make any changes you think are necessary.
5. Check the "Micro-Site GO Live"

	Modify your public contact info, add a photo of yourself and adapt the basic info about your Local Bee under "Profile."
	This area of the Host Control Panel allows you to communicate easily with your contestant families, either individually or as a group.  Simply select your recipients, add to the templates or Email Encouragers provided by SKF  or write your own messages and hit "Send."
	Your "Communication Corner" provides you with the tools to communicate with all your families at one at a time or individually. You will be able to create your own e-mails and then populate your list from your contestant or parent lists, customize any of the provided templates with local details or just forward any of our provided templates. The "Communications Corner" makes talking with your families easier!
	With the Microsite tab, you are given control of your Local Bible Bee website, which we call a microsite. Through your microsite you will be able to promote your local Bible Bee by adding images, scheduling events, and update announcements. We have also made a provision for you to create your own unique microsite name (URL). Be sure to name your Local Bible Bee microsite as soon as possible with a name that easy to remember and then you can begin giving it to others.
	Once your local Bible Bee participants are registered, you will have access to all of your families' contact information under the "Families" tab.
	Once Contestant Registration opens, you will have access to all of your individual contestants' contact information listed under the "Families" tab.
	Find all of the most up-to-date documents, forms, templates and past Host Weekly Update Emails under the "Resources" tab. We will add additional items here as Hosts share their ideas and as we receive requests from you.
