For 2011 Season:
1 Peter Chapter 1 Screensaver
This screensaver displays each verse from 1 Peter chapter 1 one at a time on your computer screen along with a photo taken on our ranch of God's creation to illustrate the verse. As the verses are displayed, the screensaver also reads them aloud.
My little sister loves to watch this as she falls asleep each night, absorbing God's word at the same time as enjoying the photos of His creations.
It is a tool for contestants to study and review in a fun way, planting a love for God's word and an eagerness to study. My brother Anthony, a Primary, made it to the National Level in the 2009 and 2010 Bible Bee. He learned in a fun way and is eager to learn more of God's Word this year.
It is hard for some children to sit down for long periods of study, but by watching the screensaver they learn the verses easily and also connect them in their minds to the photo illustration which brings the words to life.
