The National Bee Has Moved…Everyone’s Invited!

The 2010 National Bible Bee will be held at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois. We expect 6,000 in the audience to cheer on the five finalists from each age group in their Final Challenge Rounds and almost 2,000 to witness each of the Semi-Final Challenge Rounds. The facilities also allow family members to attend the Prelimary Oral Round with their contestant.

Awards this year again total $140,000 for the Senior Division, $80,000 for the Junior Division, and $40,000 for the Primary Division, but only nine very exceptional young people will take them home. The National Bible Bee Contest experience is designed to encourage and recognize all of the National finalists for their diligence in Bible study and Scripture memorization. It is truly “The event of a lifetime” for them.

This will be a “Family Discipleship Convention” atmosphere, with booths and exhibits by sponsors and ministry partners of the National Bible Bee, as well as Christian Universities and suppliers of Scripture-based educational tools. Deeply discounted “family-friendly” room rates at the Renaissance and many surrounding hotels will be enjoyed by all attendees.

Please make plans to be in the Chicago area with your family November 11-13, 2010. The strong witness to your children as they watch the Scripture recitation will be an encouragement to them. The flow of Scripture from young voices will be music to your soul, as well.
