The 2009 National Bible Bee Competition

During 2009, over 17,000 contestants enrolled to participate in the first annual National Bible Bee, a motivating Bible memory competition for children and youth from 7 to 18 years of age. On Saturday, September 12, 2009, these contestants competed in approximately 340 Local Bible Bee contests conducted throughout the United States. From these local events, only one hundred top scorers from each of three age brackets received invitations to advance to the National Bible Bee. This three-day, world-class competition was held in Washington, D.C., on November 4–6, 2009.
