Steps to Becoming a Local Planning Committee Chairman

The following information does not apply again until November 15, 2009, when the Local Planning Committee Registration Phase for the 2010 National Bible Bee Competition begins.
Four steps are involved in becoming a Local Planning Committee Chairman:
CALL
Bible Bee Headquarters is offering qualified individuals nationwide the opportunity to prepare for and host Local Contests.
REVIEW
After speaking with one of the Bible Bee event planners, prospective committee chairmen will be emailed a summary letter, briefly outlining the Bible Bee Competition, the Competition timeline, details related to holding a Local Contest, and a list of Chairman and Local Planning Committee responsibilities.
After reviewing the summary letter, individuals who are interested in being a Chairman for a Local Contest may notify one of the Bible Bee Event Planners. Upon request, a link to a very simple, three-step registration process will then be emailed to the prospective chariman which contains a Host Agreement Letter.
Note: A one-time, $100 processing fee is part of the Local Bible Bee registration. This nominal fee helps offset a small fraction of the administrative costs associated with the Bible Bee Competition.
GET STARTED
Once the Host Agreement letter is signed (electronically) and the administrative fee is paid, the registration process is complete and a downloadable Local Contest Procedure Manual will be made available. This manual is an extensive, user-friendly guide to preparing for and hosting a Local Contest.
